Director, Bachelor of Teaching Early Childhood

Sharnie Duncan

My name is Sharnie Duncan, and I am the Director of Molong Early Learning Centre.

I am a local resident here in Molong, and I have four beautiful children.

I have extensive knowledge and experience in early childhood and education and care, with over 16 years experience. My journey first started as an educator with Cabonne Family Day Care. During my eight years as an educator, I completed my Certificate III in Children’s Services along with my Diploma. I then started working at Molong Early Learning Centre as the Room Leader in the 0-3 year room, while studying my Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood.

My role as a leader first begun at Cabonne/Blayney family Day Care as a Coordinator. I mentored and directed over twenty six educators during my four and half years as their leader. Then I was rewarded as the Director at Molong Early Learning Centre.

I look forward in building strong relationships with the children and build a team of educators, who deliver high quality Early Childhood Education and Care to all children who attend our service.

Jessie Fisher

We welcomed Jessie at the beginning of 2022.

Since then Jessie has gelled in and become a huge asset, and just as importantly, a wonderful friend to us all.

Jessie is kind, approachable, fun, understanding, fantastic in her role (the list goes on) and welcoming to all with her wonderful smile and bubbly and happy personality.

We all love Jessie and we know our children, families and community would and will just as much as we do too.

You will find Jessie from Tuesday to Friday in our front office from 8.30am

Diana Philpott

I have been working in the childcare industry for 15 years. In 2004 I left TAFE Orange with a Diploma in Children’s Services. From then on I have worked as an assistant as well as a room leader in childcare, before and after school care, and preschool settings. I started part-time at Molong preschool in 2011 as an advanced childcare worker and room leader. At this time I began distance education with Charles Sturt University to obtain a Bachelor of Teaching (Birth to Five years) degree. In 2014 I took on the role of the teacher in the preschool room at the Molong Early Learning Centre. I look forward to working with you and your children.
